Senior National Account Manager – Health & Wellness

Location: North West England
Salary: £65,000–£75,000 Basic + benefits
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 1–2 days per week in the office MAX!

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a growing health and wellness business based in the North West of England. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior National Account Manager to join an ambitious business and take responsibility for developing some of its key UK retail accounts.

The ideal candidate will have experience within health, wellness, beauty, personal care, FMCG or a similar consumer sector, with a strong track record of managing major retailers.

Key Accounts

You will ideally have experience managing accounts such as:

  • Boots
  • Superdrug
  • Holland and Barrett
  • Tesco
  • Ocado
  • Major grocery retailers
  • Other national health, beauty and high-street retailers

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with major UK retail customers.
  • Own and deliver sales, revenue and commercial targets.
  • Develop strategic account plans and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Build strong relationships with buyers and senior commercial stakeholders.
  • Lead negotiations around pricing, promotions, ranging and commercial agreements.
  • Analyse sales and market data to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Brand, Supply Chain, Finance and Operations.
  • Support new product launches and promotional activity.
  • Manage forecasting and account planning.
  • Provide regular commercial updates to senior management.

About You

We are looking for a commercially driven National Account Manager or Senior National Account Manager with a strong understanding of UK retail. You should have:

  • Proven experience managing major national accounts.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working with retailers such as Boots, Superdrug, Tesco, Home Bargains or similar.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • A strong understanding of sales, forecasting and commercial performance.
  • A proactive and entrepreneurial approach.

Experience within health, wellness, beauty, personal care, FMCG, healthcare or nutrition would be highly desirable.

Location & Package

The business is based in the North West, so candidates should ideally be within a commutable distance of the office. The role is hybrid, with approximately 1–2 days per week in the office. Salary: £65,000–£75,000 depending on experience, plus benefits. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior NAM to join a growing health and wellness business and play a key role in its continued commercial growth.
