Senior National Account Manager
As a Senior National Account Manager you'll manage a portfolio of UK retail customers.
This role is all about ensuring smooth account management and delivering results that align with business goals.

Our client is an award-winning, family-rooted food manufacturer, operating from a collection of world-class, heavily invested facilities. They are a primary, go-to supplier for premium private label ranges for major UK retailers like Marks & Spencer, Tesco, and Sainsbury's, alongside their own popular regional consumer brand.
Description
To lead, manage and develop key national customer accounts, delivering sustainable sales growth, profitability and strong customer relationships across the business.
Responsible for developing and implementing account plans, managing customer negotiations, identifying growth opportunities and ensuring the successful delivery of customer requirements through effective cross-functional working.
Working closely with Commercial, NPD, Technical, Operations, Supply Chain, Planning and Finance teams to ensure customer expectations are met, new product opportunities are delivered effectively and commercial performance is achieved in line with agreed business objectives.

Profile
A successful Senior National Account Manager should have:
- Proven experience as a National Account Manager or Senior National Account Manager within FMCG, food manufacturing or a similar fast-paced commercial environment.
- Experience managing major UK retail, foodservice or national customer accounts.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience of delivering sales, margin and profit targets.
- Proven experience in customer negotiation, pricing reviews, promotional planning and joint business planning.
- Strong understanding of account planning, category performance, customer strategy and market insight.
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales, margin, forecast and customer performance data.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and customer requirements.
- Confident working cross-functionally with internal teams including NPD, Technical, Operations, Supply Chain, Planning and Finance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate reports, proposals and customer presentations.
