The role

As the Senior National Account Manager, you will take full ownership of two of the UK's most important grocery retailers, Sainsbury's and Waitrose. Responsible for developing and executing customer business plans, you will build impactful relationships across buying, category and supply chain functions to drive sustainable growth, profitability and brand presence. Working closely with internal teams across marketing, finance and supply chain, you'll identify new opportunities, deliver compelling category-led proposals, manage promotional investment and ensure best-in-class account execution.

This is a highly visible role offering the chance to shape the future of two strategic partnerships within a business renowned for its passion for quality food and long-term customer relationships.

The ideal fit

  • Experience in a National Account Manager role or equivalent
  • Have a broad customer experience across Grocery.
  • Passion for achievement; integrity and drive with a strong desire to make things happen.
  • Is a change champion and pioneers new ideas and approaches
  • Strong, confident communicator with good influencing and interpersonal skills with a capability to flex style when appropriate
  • Comfortable working in a small dynamic team
  • Self starter

Salary: Up to £70,000 plus benefits package including car allowance, bonus and other company performance related bonuses.
Location: 3 days per week in Hertfordshire. 2 days WFH.
