A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior National Account Manager to join one of the most recognisable and commercially ambitious food businesses operating in the UK today. With a portfolio of iconic, market-leading brands and a track record of consistent growth, this company is widely respected across the FMCG landscape for its brand investment, strategic customer partnerships, and strong commercial culture. This is a high-profile Senior National Account Manager role with full ownership of Tesco - one of the UK's most important grocery accounts. If you're looking for a role that offers genuine commercial impact, senior visibility, and the opportunity to shape a significant P&L, this is one worth exploring.
The Role
As Senior National Account Manager, you will take the lead on all commercial activity for Tesco, driving joint business planning, managing trade investment, and delivering against ambitious growth targets across a portfolio spanning multiple confectionery and snacking categories. This is a role that demands both strategic thinking and hands-on commercial execution. You will work cross-functionally with category, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure plans are delivered effectively and that the customer relationship is managed at the highest level.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
