About the Role

We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Senior National Account Manager to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. This role lies within the UKI business unit, reporting into the Sainsbury’s & Waitrose Account Lead as part of our Retail Sales team.

You will be responsible for growing and managing the Meals & Taste Elevation portfolio with Waitrose, owning a $40M P&L and delivering sales, profit and share through strong customer partnerships and excellent execution. You’ll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders!

What You’ll Do

  • Full P&L ownership of the meals & taste elevation business within Waitrose with key delivery of top-line sales, share and profit for your category.
  • Create and execute winning customer plans, leading JBPs for your area, and translating strategy into clear priorities, actions and milestones to deliver the defined business objectives.
  • Build long-term partnerships with external and internal stakeholders, influencing cross-functional teams to unlock business growth.
  • Lead sales pitches and negotiations across all new products, concepts and commercial propositions.
  • Drive brilliant execution instore and online (range, availability, distribution, secondary display execution and activation), working closely with supply, category, finance and field teams.
  • Drive efficiency in forecasting and manage risks/opportunities, using sales data and market insight to provide accurate visibility and decisive actions.
  • Coach and develop one direct report, helping them perform at their best.

What You’ll Need

  • 4+ years in account management roles within UK&I retail and proven track record of exceeding targets and delivering commercial results.
  • Experience managing and coaching others or strong evidence of coaching/leadership capability.
  • Strong sales and negotiation capability, with experience influencing value-based outcomes.
  • Interpersonal skills and high personal credibility is required to build relationships between external customers and internal functions to align both requirements and resolve issues (ability to communicate, present and influence). Particular customer centric focus needed to identify opportunities, build and translate activity into executable plans.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
