Role Description
The Senior Negotiator/Valuer is a full-time, on-site role based in Birmingham/West Midlands. This role is responsible for carrying out property valuations, advising clients on market conditions and pricing, and securing instructions along with managing viewings, negotiating offers between sellers, and buyers, and progressing agreed sales through to completion. Day-to-day activities include business generation, ensuring properties are presented and marketed effectively, building strong relationships with local clients, generating new business through proactive outreach, and working closely with the branch team to meet performance targets and deliver excellent customer service.

Requirements

- Strong background in residential Estate Agency, Sales, or Customer Service
- Training can be provided if you have not valued before, albeit experience is beneficial
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, handle complex conversations, and maintain professional relationships
- Solid customer service skills, with a focus on providing clear guidance, managing expectations, and reducing stress for clients throughout the moving process
- Good organisational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple instructions, keeping detailed records, and meeting deadlines and branch targets
- Commercial awareness and sales skills, including generating new business, following up leads, and contributing to branch growth
- Comfort with using property software, email, and standard office applications; ability to learn internal systems quickly
- Knowledge of local Birmingham property markets and an understanding of relevant regulations and industry best practices
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, or the ability to travel to appointments as required
