Senior .NET Developer | C# |.NET 8+ | Azure | Distributed Systems | Event-Driven Architecture | Energy Trading | Greenfield Development | £650/day Inside IR35

A leading energy trading firm, currently undergoing a significant technology platform rebuild following exceptional business growth, is looking for multiple Senior.NET Developers to join their engineering team.

This is an opportunity to work on the modernisation of several business-critical trading applications, including Settlements, Trade Capture and Trade Operations, as the business moves away from legacy technology towards a modern .NET 8+ architecture.

As a Senior C#.NET Developer, you'll play a key role in designing and building scalable backend services and distributed applications that underpin the next generation of energy trading operations.

You'll work on greenfield development projects, contributing to technical design and architectural decisions while helping build highly scalable, resilient and maintainable systems using modern engineering practices.

Working alongside experienced engineers, architects, and business stakeholders, you'll be involved throughout the full software development lifecycle — from technical design and development through to testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
