About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team at Stratospherec Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining .NET Core applications that support our acquisitions and international projects. The position offers a hybrid work model, allowing flexibility between remote work and office presence at our Royal Leamington Spa location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C# programming, web technologies, and experience working within an Agile development environment. You will play a pivotal role in architectural decision-making, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions that align with business objectives.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in C# and.NET Core development.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React.
  • Proficiency with Entity Framework and familiarity with SQL Server.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Prior experience with architectural responsibilities and mentoring junior team members is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable.NET Core applications in line with project requirements and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Participate in architectural discussions, providing guidance and expertise to ensure robust and efficient system design.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely solutions to minimize project delays.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process enhancements and adoption of new technologies.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to incorporate innovative solutions into ongoing projects.
  • Assist in the deployment and integration of applications within various environments, ensuring seamless operation.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to promote effective team collaboration.
