About The Role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join a tech-driven, not-for-profit organization on a remote basis. Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software engineering or a related field. A strong background in .NET Core development is essential, along with proficiency in Blazor for building interactive web applications. Experience with SQL Server for database management and optimization is also required. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of software architecture, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, although equivalent practical experience will also be considered. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are vital for thriving within our team environment.

Responsibilities
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the organization’s platform to support its mission-driven initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing scalable and maintainable software solutions using.NET Core and Blazor frameworks.
- Designing and implementing database schemas and queries to optimize SQL Server performance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensuring the security, performance, and reliability of the platform through best practices and continuous improvement.
- Participating in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to maintain high-quality standards.
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
