Senior .NET / C# / Angular Full-Stack Developer (Azure, DevOps, Graph API)

Contract: Inside IR35
Location: UK (Remote within UK)
Duration: 6 months to 12 months to begin with & extendable

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer to help rewrite a legacy ASP.NET WebForms application to a modern, scalable architecture using.NET, Angular, and Azure. This role will play a key part in redesigning, rebuilding, and modernizing the application while ensuring continuity of business functionality.

You’ll work closely with product owners, architects, and other developers to replace the legacy system with a robust, cloud-ready solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the rewrite of a legacy ASP.NET WebForms application to a modern .NET + Angular stack
  • Design and build scalable backend services using.NET (C#)
  • Develop responsive, maintainable front-end features using Angular
  • Integrate with Microsoft Graph API and other external/internal APIs
  • Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server and Cosmos DB databases, including data migration strategies
  • Implement cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure (Serverless, Functions, Cosmos DB, Storage, Event Grid, etc.)
  • Ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand legacy behavior and translate it into modern solutions

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong communication skills in English (both technical and business conversations)
  • Strong experience with C# and .NET (Core / 6+)
  • Proven hands-on experience with Angular (v18+, standalone, signals)
  • Some understanding of ASP.NET WebForms and legacy applications
  • Experience working with and configuring Microsoft Azure
  • Strong SQL Server and document database skills (preferably Cosmos DB)
  • Experience integrating with Microsoft Graph API
  • REST API design and implementation and experience with SignalR
  • Experience building event driven cloud systems (Event Grid)
  • Familiarity with authentication/authorization (OAuth, Entra, etc.)
  • Git-based version control and modern CI/CD pipelines

Nice to Have

  • Experience breaking down monolithic applications into service-based architecture
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools
  • Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, end-to-end)
  • Exposure to microservice or serverless design patterns
  • Previous experience working on complex system modernization projects
