Role Description
As our customer base and project portfolio continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Senior Network Delivery and Operations Manager to lead the delivery, operational readiness, and service assurance of carrier-grade telecom network services.
This role is focused on optical transport, DWDM, OTN, carrier backbone, transmission, mobile backhaul, terrestrial, and subsea connectivity environments. The successful candidate will help us deliver complex network projects, improve service governance, strengthen operational processes, manage customer and vendor escalations, and build a scalable service assurance model suitable for a growing telecom services business.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who can operate confidently across technical delivery, network operations, service assurance, customer governance, vendor coordination, and project execution.

The role is best suited to a telecom professional who understands not only how network services are deployed, but also how they are accepted, handed over, monitored, restored, and continuously improved once live.
Qualifications
- Experience working across both technical project delivery and live network operations.
- Strong practical knowledge of DWDM, OTN, optical transport, and carrier backbone networks.
- Experience managing local and remote NOC operations, preferably in 24/7 international or carrier-grade environments.
- Experience in Middle East, EMEA, or international telecom network environments, including regional operators, wholesale carriers, service integrators, or multi-country delivery models.
- Experience with multi-vendor telecom platforms such as Ciena, Nokia, Cisco, Huawei, or equivalent technologies.
- Experience supporting enterprise, wholesale, mobile, hyperscale, cloud, carrier-to-carrier, or international connectivity services.
- Experience leading major incidents, service restoration, customer escalations, and post-incident reviews across distributed network environments.
- Experience delivering customer migrations from legacy transmission platforms to modern optical or packet transport networks.
- Experience supporting terrestrial long-haul, metro, international backbone, or subsea optical transport projects.
- Experience developing NOC processes, ticketing models, escalation procedures, shift handover routines, service dashboards, or operational governance frameworks.
- Experience introducing process automation, workflow improvement, monitoring improvements, or fault triage enhancements.
- Knowledge of ITIL-aligned incident, problem, change, service transition, and continual improvement practices.
- Experience presenting delivery status, operational risks, service performance, and technical issues to senior stakeholders.
- Experience working across multiple countries, time zones, vendors, and partner delivery models.
- Experience supporting presales, bid input, delivery estimates, or operational readiness planning.
- Project management qualification, ITIL certification, vendor optical transport training, or equivalent practical experience would be advantageous.
