About the Role
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in enterprise networking, including Cisco Routing & Switching, Wireless technologies, VMware NSX, and network security. This role involves designing, implementing, supporting, and optimizing complex network environments while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure using Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Routing & Switching technologies in complex enterprise environments.
- Plan, deploy, and support enterprise wireless network solutions.
- Implement and manage VMware NSX, including Distributed Firewall (DFW) and security policies.
- Configure and maintain firewall policies to ensure network security and compliance.
- Support network optimization, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across LAN, WAN, Wireless, and Data Center environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects, migrations, and technology upgrades.
- Participate in change management, incident management, and root cause analysis.
- Maintain network documentation, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and operations teams.

Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Cisco certifications such as CCNP Enterprise or CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure.
- VMware certifications related to NSX are highly desirable.
- Experience working in large enterprise or managed services environments.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and change management.
- Experience with network monitoring and automation tools is an advantage.
Required Skills
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Cisco Routing & Switching, with expert-level knowledge of Cisco Catalyst and Cisco Nexus switches.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on implementation experience in enterprise Wireless Networking.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with VMware NSX, including:
- Distributed Firewall (DFW)
- NSX Firewall configuration and policy management
- Network virtualization
- Strong understanding of enterprise firewall technologies and security best practices.
- Exposure to DNS concepts and troubleshooting.
- Conceptual understanding of SD-WAN architecture and technologies.
- Experience troubleshooting complex enterprise network environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
