Working closely with the Senior Network Architect, this hands-on engineering role is focused on the practical remediation and documentation of a complex, legacy Cisco environment. The successful candidate will be a routing expert capable of diagnosing and unpicking unconventional protocol configurations, building standards-compliant designs, and supporting the convergence of two network environments.

Key responsibilities

  • Audit and document the existing network estate (~1,000 devices across both banking entities)
  • Identify and remediate non-standard routing configurations, including atypical EIGRP deployments
  • Define and implement standardised change categories, change risk classifications, and change management templates
  • Support the transition from hybrid ACI to target-state architecture
  • Develop network documentation and operational runbooks
  • Provide detailed input into the network baseline assessment
  • Act as a subject matter expert during change approval board (CAB) reviews
  • Work with managed service providers to ensure designs and standards are followed during implementation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
