YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
We're looking for an experienced, proactive, and solution-oriented Senior Network & Infrastructure Engineer to join our global IT team in a full-time, permanent position based in our Munich, London, or Milan office.
Working closely with colleagues across our international offices, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our global network and infrastructure landscape while ensuring the highest standards of security, stability, and operational excellence. You will work independently, collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors, and contribute to the continuous modernization of our IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize complex network and security infrastructures across our global offices.
- Design and maintain secure network architectures within Microsoft Azure.
- Configure, administer, and further develop Check Point SASE solutions or comparable network security platforms.
- Plan and implement new office network infrastructures, including technical solution design, evaluation of alternative approaches, and end-to-end project delivery.
- Optimize existing network environments to improve performance, stability, and security.
- Administer switching and wireless network environments (Aruba Instant On), including configuration, updates, backups, and troubleshooting.
- Implement security hardening measures, vulnerability remediation, and patch management processes.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain infrastructure monitoring and alerting solutions.
- Manage and optimize the Veeam backup environment, including backup validation, security checks, and recovery procedures.
- Administer Windows Server environments, Hyper-V, Hyper-V Clusters, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services.
- Provide second- and third-level technical support for infrastructure and networking issues across the firm.
- Coordinate and manage external IT service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- (Optional) Administer Barracuda firewall environments, including VLAN configuration, firewall rule optimization, and VPN (client and site-to-site) management.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 5 years of professional experience in network engineering, IT infrastructure, or systems administration, ideally within an international environment.
- Strong experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructures.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure networking and cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Check Point SASE or comparable enterprise network security solutions.
- Solid knowledge of Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Hyper-V, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience administering enterprise switching and wireless networking solutions (preferably Aruba).
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions, ideally Veeam.
- Strong understanding of IT security principles, including security hardening, patch management, and infrastructure monitoring.
- Experience coordinating infrastructure projects and working with external vendors.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills, a collaborative working style, and a customer-focused approach.
- High level of reliability, ownership, and discretion.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
