About the Business
Our client is a respected provider of outsourced IT and security services to small and mid-sized organisations, with a loyal customer base built on long-standing relationships. Their offering covers day-to-day IT support, security, cloud and continuity, and they're now investing in sales to accelerate growth.
About the Role
This position sits at the sharp end of the sales team, focused entirely on bringing in brand-new customers. You'll research and approach businesses that aren't yet clients, get in front of the people who make the decisions, and qualify whether there's a genuine fit. From first contact through to the initial meeting, the early stages of the sales cycle are yours. You'll then partner with technical specialists and account managers to get deals over the line and hand over clients set up for long-term success.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
