About us
ICONS (www.interioricons.com) is a fast-growing ecommerce furniture company selling design-led products across the US.
We are a small, founder-led business focused on finding commercially attractive furniture products, identifying and launching commercially successful new products..
We sell designer-inspired and replica furniture. If you are not comfortable with that business model, this role is not for you.
The role
We are looking for a highly commercial, hands-on Senior New Product Manager to own new furniture products from initial discovery through to launch and commercial performance.
This is not a traditional buying role and it is not a management position.
You will own products end-to-end from initial research and selection through development, launch and commercial performance.
You remain accountable for the product throughout. Ownership does not transfer to another department.
The role suits someone who enjoys personally doing the work, moving quickly and being measured on results.
What you will do
- Continuously research furniture, interiors, designers, competitors and emerging trends.
- Build a strong pipeline of products worth testing.
- Decide which opportunities deserve a test using commercial judgment, market evidence and customer data.
- Create and improve product and lifestyle imagery using AI tools.
- Personally set up and launch new product initiatives.
- Analyse performance data and make clear commercial decisions.
- Obtain quotations and assess commercial feasibility, pricing and margin.
- Own successful products through tech packs, supplier communication, sampling, revisions and production approval.
- Work directly with suppliers and factories to achieve the right design, quality, cost and lead time.
- Own first PO, final product content and full commercial launch.
- Track the performance of the products you launch and continuously improve the portfolio.
- Follow clear processes and keep systems, data and project status accurate.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
