Role Overview
As a Senior Night Care Worker, you will lead and inspire during night shifts, ensuring that the people using our services receive the highest quality of care. You will work flexibly across a seven-day rota, including weekends and bank holidays. This role is vital in providing safety, support, and comfort to the people using the service during the night.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading with Care: Provide compassionate support and guidance to colleagues and service users.
- Crisis Management: Respond calmly to emergencies and escalate concerns to the on-call manager.
- Care Planning: Contribute to care plans, risk assessments, and Mental Capacity Act assessments.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate digital records and administer medication as required.
- Quality Assurance: Support quality assurance activities and identify areas for service improvement.
- Team Development: Mentor and guide colleagues to ensure safe, person-centred care.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Experience: At least two years of social care experience.
- Education: Level 2 in English and Maths; willingness to complete the Care Certificate and Diploma Level 3 in Care.
- Knowledge: Understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and relevant legislation in adult social care.
