About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Node Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a high-scale platform that processes over 100 million transactions daily. This position offers the flexibility of fully remote work, allowing you to operate with autonomy and manage your tasks efficiently. You will have the opportunity to work on complex technical challenges within a product-first environment, contributing to the development of scalable, reliable, and high-performance software solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in Node.js and TypeScript, along with a deep understanding of AWS cloud services and distributed systems architecture. Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Node.js and TypeScript. Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS, including services like Lambda, EC2, S3, and DynamoDB, is essential. Experience designing and implementing distributed systems, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs is highly desirable. Candidates should have a solid grasp of database management, performance optimization, and security best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and strong communication skills are also required. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

As a Node Software Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems that support high transaction volumes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, develop APIs, and ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Contributing to the architectural decisions related to distributed systems and microservices, ensuring they meet scalability and security standards.
  • Participating in code reviews, writing comprehensive documentation, and implementing automated testing to maintain code quality.
  • Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing existing infrastructure.
  • Staying updated with the latest industry trends and incorporating best practices to enhance system efficiency and security.
