Senior NPD Technologist

About the Senior NPD Technologist job
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, leading the NPD team, driving innovation and managing the complete product development process from concept through to successful launch.
Key tasks
- Take full ownership of the NPD process, leading projects from initial concept through to successful commercial launch. Ensure customer briefs are managed efficiently, delivering products to the highest standards while meeting agreed objectives, quality expectations, and timescales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted partner throughout the product development journey. Understand customer needs and present innovative concepts through presentations, support successful product launches while identifying opportunities to grow existing business and develop new partnerships.
- Working closely with other teams, ensure a seamless transition from development to launch. Monitor market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activity to identify emerging opportunities, driving innovation and helping to shape the future pipeline.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the NPD team, creating an environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Inspire high performance and ensure the team consistently delivers outstanding results.

About You
- The successful candidate shall be educated to degree level in Food Science/Nutrition or equivalent or the equivalent industry experience will be considered.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in NPD in the food manufacturing sector as a team leader or supervisory role, and strong management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at any one time.
- A full UK driver’s license is required.

- The Senior NPD Technologist job (ref:9079) is paying £37,000 to £42,000 according to your experience.
- The site is in London and is commutable from Tottenham, Walthamstow, Cheshunt, Hertford, St Albans, Epping, Harlow, Enfield and surrounding areas.
- The working hours are Monday to Friday.
