Senior Nursery Practitioner – Pre-school
37 hours per week – 7.45am – 6 pm – 4 days a week
Location: Horsham
£15.38 an hour / £29,591 per annum
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established nursery in Horsham. They are seeking an experienced, passionate, and creative Senior Nursery Practitioner. This would be the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking for the next step in their childcare career and wants that extra responsibility. At the nursery, they believe childhood is a magical time full of wonder, exploration, and growth. Their approach blends the best of Natural, Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and Forest School philosophies — creating a rich, caring environment where every child is seen as capable, curious, and unique.

As a Senior Nursery Practitioner, you will support the Room Leader in delivering high-quality early years care and education, creating a safe, stimulating, and organized environment for children to thrive. You will lead and inspire a team of practitioners, ensure best practice and safeguarding standards are maintained, and contribute to providing an outstanding experience for both children and families.

About You
- Recognised Level 3 Childcare qualification (essential)
- Previous experience within an early year or nursery setting
- Caring, enthusiastic, and passionate about supporting children's development
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
- A clear and up-to-date Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one
