You have experience with various types of software and are passionate about helping to improve the quality of products you work on, through questions, curiosity and exploration. Our projects and clients are diverse, so what we really look for are people driven to develop and expand their skillset and knowledge.
You'll need to have...
- Commercial experience in Quality Assurance and testing across networks and infrastructure environments.
- Experience testing physical infrastructure and hardware, including installation, configuration and validation.
- Experience with resilience and recovery testing, including backup, restore and disaster recovery processes.
- Commercial experience testing system deployments, migrations and upgrades, with exposure to cloud migration activities.
- Experience working with AWS and cloud-based infrastructure environments.
- Deep understanding of network infrastructure, including routers, access points, networks and associated connectivity.
- Experience working with Linux systems and virtualised environments/VMs.
- Experience with system monitoring, alerting, logging and auditing, with the ability to investigate issues and identify root causes.
- Understanding of system security and the principles of testing secure infrastructure and network environments.
- Experience testing system start-up and shutdown processes, as well as archiving and data/system purging.
- Experience using trends and analytics to identify potential issues, monitor system performance and support continuous improvement.
- Experience planning and executing Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) and supporting systems through to production readiness.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure quality, reliability and operational resilience, with the ability to identify and manage risks across complex environments.
