Senior Observability Consultant
Location: Hybrid, ideally based in Brighton, with travel to London and to client sites
Role type: Full-time, permanent
Salary: Competitive

The Role
As a Senior Observability Consultant at NETbuilder, you will lead project teams that help our clients run their technology estates with clarity and control. You will work alongside client stakeholders and colleagues across our practices to solve complex data and operations problems.
You will also stay hands-on with the engineering. Clear, consistent communication with customers and internal teams is central to how you will succeed.
What You Will Do
- Design, implement, and maintain observability solutions on Splunk, Cribl, and CrowdStrike.
- Onboard complex data sources into observability platforms.
- Manage client demands and expectations, and challenge where needed to get to the real business requirement.
- Work with customers to understand their data and technology challenges.
- Provide technical support during the pre-sales process.
- Help customers train their teams and adopt new technology.
- Keep current with observability best practice and share it across the team.
What You Will Bring
Core Experience
- A track record of managing client demands and expectations, with the confidence to challenge appropriately to understand the business need.
- Deep knowledge of Splunk and CrowdStrike, including CrowdStrike's critical risk areas: endpoints, cloud workloads, identity, and data.
- Strong hands-on experience with observability platforms such as Splunk, Cribl, or CrowdStrike.
- Certification in at least one of Splunk, Cribl, or CrowdStrike, and the drive to add more.

Technical Skills
- Scripting in Python and Bash.
- Writing regular expressions.
- Containerized platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenShift.
- Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- PMO and ITSM tooling such as ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence.
