The role
Lincoln Occupational Health is looking for a motivated and professional Occupational Health Advisor to join the team. We are a friendly, independent OH provider, with long-standing clients to which we provide a bespoke, personable, and high-quality service.
We are looking for someone to perform a broad role across the range of our services, beyond case management. Willingness to learn and integrate with the business ethos and team is key. This is a great opportunity for someone who wishes to develop in Occupational Health and gain experience and responsibility across the business.
What your role will include
- Triaging management referrals
- Managing the physician assessment process end to end, reviewing physician reports and assisting with amendment requests (will have access to dedicated admin support)
- Carrying out management referrals (max. five a day) and producing bespoke, detailed reports which provide our clients with helpful, actionable advice
- Managing any ill health retirement applications and obtaining medical reports if required
- Reviewing new starter health questionnaires and allocating cases across the team
- Assisting with health surveillance programmes and signing off the technicians’ clinics
- Managing client expectations, responding to queries and handling new enquiries
- Answering phone line
- Contributing to blogs, policies and any work towards accreditation

What we are looking for

- A Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and an OH qualification
- OH experience in a range of areas
- Someone who is keen to learn – we are open to candidates who may not have experience in all the above areas but are eager to be immersed in the Lincoln Occupational Health approach
- Excellent written English with strong grammar skills
- Confidence with IT, and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
- A motivated, trustworthy individual, hardworking with excellent communication skills
- Attendance to client sites when needed
