Occupational Therapist Opportunity in Perinatal Mental Health
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a part-time Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated Perinatal Mental Health Community Service.
We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. The post holder will have experience working within mental health, and if possible, experience of perinatal mental health and/or infant/child development.
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is committed to the development and clinical leadership of the MBU.
The post holder will be registered with The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). The post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

- To provide occupational therapy assessment and intervention to those patients open to the Perinatal Mental Health Community Service.
- To support the continued development and provision of a meaningful group programme with the service.
- To support the Occupational Therapy Assistants in the team with their involvement in patient care.
- To be involved in multi-disciplinary decisions regarding patient care.
The senior occupational therapist is an experienced occupational therapist within the multi-disciplinary care team.
