Job Description
About the Role
This post is based within Hawthorn Recovery Unit, which provides assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for older adults with functional mental health problems. The unit plays a key role in admission prevention for those with acute and complex mental health needs.
Responsibilities
- The post holder will hold an allocated caseload acting as named Occupational Therapist and Care Coordinator as designated, formulating care plans and risk management plans with the involvement of the client and family members.
- The post holder will be responsible for delivering assessment and treatment sessions and for contributing to multidisciplinary care planning, risk assessment and discharge co-ordination.
- The post holder will supervise staff and students as required, and support induction and development of staff and students within the team.
- The post includes taking the in-charge role for the team for designated shifts.

Additional Information
In order to meet the needs of the Trust you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work. This may mean that you are required to work at any location that fall under Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, or Islington. The Trust reserves the right to require staff to work at such other places or locations as it considers reasonable and necessary on a temporary or permanent basis.
