Role Overview
Are you a skilled Band 5 looking to take that next definitive step, or an experienced Band 6 OT ready for a refreshing, fast-paced challenge? The Home Treatment Team (HTT) is looking for a dynamic clinician who thrives in the action.
In this role, you’ll be on the front lines of crisis resolution, delivering rapid, high-impact assessment and interventions directly into client's homes when they need it most. We view mental health through a functional lens, helping you champion the unique value of OT—empowering individuals, promoting occupational resilience, and preventing hospital admission.

Responsibilities
- Crisis Resolution: Deliver rapid, high-impact assessment and interventions directly into client's homes.
- Mental Health Support: View mental health through a functional lens, championing the unique value of OT.
- Occupational Resilience: Empower individuals, promote occupational resilience, and prevent hospital admission.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate therapeutic interventions for identified clients.
- Caseload Management: Manage a defined caseload of service users with occupational needs using evidence-based, client-centred, hope and recovery, health promotion, and relapse prevention-orientated principles and practice.
- Supervision: Provide supervision to designated junior staff and students.
- Teamwork: Demonstrates ability to work as a team member as well as autonomously.
- Complex Needs: Managing a caseload of service users who have complex needs.
- Balancing Role: Balancing all aspects of the job role.
- Flexibility: Being flexible and responsive to competing demands.
- Occupational Focus: Promoting Occupational Therapy in the service and keeping an occupational focus at the centre of practice.
- Skill Application: Demonstrate an ability to apply increasingly complex skills and knowledge commensurate to a higher level of professional practice.
- Risk Management: Manage complex caseloads presenting with complex and dynamic risks.

Requirements
- The post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
