Senior Oil Market Maker | London
I'm working with an established commodity trading business looking to hire a Senior Oil Market Maker to join its London team.
This is a trading role for someone who knows how to make markets, manage risk and consistently identify opportunities across the oil complex.
The Role
- Market make across crude and/or refined oil products
- Price and manage risk across swaps, futures and related derivatives
- Develop and maintain liquidity with key counterparties
- Actively manage positions around changing market conditions
- Identify relative value and arbitrage opportunities
- Work closely with traders across the wider oil business
- Take ownership of your book and contribute directly to PnL

- Proven experience market making in oil
- Strong understanding of crude and/or refined products
- Experience trading swaps and derivatives
- Demonstrable PnL track record
- Strong risk management and pricing ability
- Established relationships across the oil market
- Commercial mindset and ability to operate independently
