Senior Okta Architect
Location: Flexible across Intragen's European countries
Languages: Fluent English required
Level: Principal / Senior Architect
About Us
Intragen is a leading Identity & Access Management (IAM) consultancy, operating across five European countries. As an Okta Apex Partner, we deliver high-impact IAM solutions that help organisations secure access and drive digital transformation.
The Role
This is a principal-level, hands-on technical role covering the guiding knowledge and skills of a senior technical architect: hands-on delivery, architectural and deep solution-centred pre-sales, technical governance, team leadership and development of the Okta delivery team. It is not intended to be filled by one person covering every skill in isolation.
The Architect will bring credible, hands-on architecture experience across Okta Workforce Identity, Okta Customer Identity Cloud, and Auth0 — spanning cloud and hybrid environments, and customers ranging from SMB to complex enterprise scale, including greenfield builds and migration/re-build engagements. The Architect works alongside a supporting pre-sales and delivery team, with activity shared across the group where needed.
The role is critical to the success of the Okta business, sitting at the heart of customer relationships and stakeholder engagement, and requiring close interfacing with Intragen's internal and external Okta teams. It calls for an intrinsic understanding of the Okta platform and how it can be delivered across varying customer estates; knowledge of identity concepts outside of Okta is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Delivery
- Deliver Okta solutions hands-on, covering both Customer Identity and Workforce Identity use cases across the current and future Okta technology stack.
- Maintain some billable, hands-on delivery presence as the lead architect on client engagements rather than operating in a purely advisory capacity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Engage in senior sales conversations, providing technical credibility and governance across Okta and Auth0 opportunities.
Team Leadership and Capability Development
- Manage and develop the internal Okta delivery team, provide a technical soundboard for complex problems, and offer solutions to challenges faced in day-to-day delivery of Okta and Auth0 projects.

- Working knowledge of authentication protocols including SAML, OIDC and OAuth 2.0, federation, and Joiner-Mover-Leaver processes built on both standards-based provisioning (e.g. SCIM) and customised integration patterns — spanning SWA, SCIM and SAML/OIDC app integrations, inbound/outbound provisioning via Okta Workflows, API-based integrations (Okta Management/Org2Org APIs), directory integrations (AD/LDAP via Okta AD Agent or LDAP Interface), and custom connectors for non-standard target systems.

- Proven experience managing and developing technical teams.
- Okta certification required (Architect or Professional level).
- Fluent in English; not required to be UK-based, but must be able to support regional client needs.
