Senior Operations Efficiency Manager
The Senior Operational Efficiency Manager is responsible for defining and delivering the Central Operations efficiency strategy across UK&I, ensuring optimal labour deployment, continuous improvement, and performance insight while protecting the customer experience.

What you’ll do
Being a Senior Operations Efficiency Manager is about so much more than bringing our coffee to the world. It’s your chance to stir up real success - which means you’ll be:
- Define and own the UK&I operational efficiency strategy aligned to business goals and growth plans
- Lead a multi-functional team spanning Labour Systems, Continuous Improvement, and Performance Insight to deliver sustainable operational efficiencies and annualised savings of c.£15m through the Operations F4G plan.
- Own operational performance reporting, insight, and analytics strategy
- Working on large scale Productivity projects
- Own the end-to-end labour model, systems, and deployment approach across all store formats
- Lead and develop a team of 3 direct reports, building capability, engagement, and subject matter expertise across the team

Who you are
It’s your unique ingredients we’re interested in:
- Strong expertise in multi-site retail operations, workforce planning, productivity optimisation, performance metrics, financial drivers, and continuous improvement
- Commercially astute leader with strong strategic thinking, analytical capability, and stakeholder influence
- Ability to translate complex data into clear actions while driving performance and developing high-performing teams
- Experienced senior leader with a proven track record of delivering large-scale efficiency and cost-saving programmes, leading multifunctional teams, and driving performance across complex organisations
- Ideally experience using Dayforce or similar workforce management systems, with exposure to large-scale transformation and efficiency programmes
- Experience in data visualisation, change leadership, and systems and process design to drive transformation and operational efficiency
- Experience in retail or hospitality, workforce planning systems, and influencing senior executive stakeholders
