Salary: From £42,215 (DOE)

Job Description
This role involves applying structured problem-solving methodologies to identify and address root causes, alongside assessing and analysing existing processes, procedures, and systems. It includes developing and executing project plans that deliver results within required timeframes, while managing improvement initiatives through all stages of the improvement cycle. A strong focus is placed on ensuring the sustainability of implemented changes to achieve long-term benefits. Additionally, the role supports business improvement workshops and contributes to the delivery of productive utilisation studies.
Core Duties
- Applying structured problem-solving techniques to identify and resolve root causes
- Evaluating and analysing existing processes, procedures, and systems
- Developing project plans to deliver results within agreed timelines
- Leading improvement initiatives across all phases of the improvement lifecycle
- Embedding and sustaining changes to ensure long-term project benefits
- Supporting and contributing to Business Improvement workshops
- Conducting and delivering productive utilisation studies

Essential Skills
- Working knowledge of business improvement methodologies such as lean six sigma
- Good knowledge of Project Management principles
- Excellent facilitation skills/leading workshops
- Proven ability to convey information clearly to stakeholders at every level
- Ability to understand and breakdown complex issues and communicate to a variety of stakeholders
The Continuous Improvement Team
You will be part of an improvement team, which forms part of the greater Dreadnought cross-class team, that is responsible for making impactful change to the Dreadnought programme. You will engage with senior leaders (SDA where appropriate) to develop cost improvement strategies. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
