Senior Operational Risk Manager (Technology)

Our client is a purpose-led, dual-regulated organisation, and they're looking for an experienced risk leader to step into a senior, high-profile technology risk role.
What you'll do:
- Provide expert second-line oversight and challenge across technology, cyber, information security, data, change and third-party risk
- Strengthen the organisation's operational resilience and risk profiles
- Shape policies and standards that give strong, practical coverage of risk
- Lead the design and delivery of risk scenarios, including regulatory reporting
- Decide where formal assurance is needed and verify that management actions are properly closed out
- Represent risk at governance forums and engage key stakeholders across the business
- Lead and develop a small team of risk professionals

What you'll bring:
- 5+ years' experience providing oversight and challenge of operational risk, including technology, cyber, data and transformation
- Experience of technology and digital transformation programmes
- Strong working knowledge of operational resilience regulation and how to achieve compliance
- Understanding of UK data protection, data governance and data ethics
- Familiarity with risk frameworks, including NIST, COBIT or similar
- Excellent report writing, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to make technical topics simple
- A resilient, personable style and a real desire to develop others
- A risk management qualification and/or a relevant degree
