Role Overview

The purpose of this role is to support the Head of Operations and Portfolio Management with all operational and administrative tasks related to the Pernix credit insurance portfolio.

The Senior Operations Analyst will ensure timely and accurate data capture in respect of business underwritten by Pernix in all core underwriting and aggregation systems within respective deadlines.

The role will also support the in-life management of all data, policy information, reporting and maintenance of the company’s records to ensure that Pernix, its capacity providers and its client interests are properly managed.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support underwriters to ensure accurate and timely input of all new insurance policies, policy endorsements and administrative requests into appropriate Pernix systems.
  • Manage the Pernix Enquiries inbox and ensure that all emails, NBIs, NTYs and in life administration requests are actioned and filed.
  • Assist the Head of Operations and Portfolio Management with the monthly production and distribution of the risk bordereaux to each capacity provider within agreed reporting periods.
  • Monitor and ensure accuracy of the paid, written and claim bordereaux, flash and performance reports.
  • Investigate outstanding premium payments, support the Credit Control team in managing aged debt.
  • Support the Head of Operations and Portfolio Management with binder renewals, endorsements, Letters of Authority and administrative requests from capacity providers.
  • Maintain an accurate overview of Pernix’s capacity providers: support clients and brokers with KYC, documentation and information requestions.
  • Produce weekly bound and pipeline reports.
  • Work closely with all group departments and connected third parties to obtain and provide information as requested.
  • Support the Head of Operations and Portfolio Management as required.

Skills and Experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience in an insurance operations role or similar.
  • Numerate and analytical with strong attention to detail.
  • Interested in building knowledge of Pernix products and territories.
  • Good organizational and analytical skills with an ability to prioritise and effectively manage workload while maintaining a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to support successful and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personable and able to effectively communicate with teams within and external to the Pine Walk Group, including building and maintaining client and broker relationships.
  • Team player with strong work ethic and a strong interest in the performance of the business.
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet business needs.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of applications, as well as good experience with spreadsheets and database processing programs.
