Senior Operations Analyst
About the Role
We're hiring a Senior Operations Analyst to join the Operations team at Zima Dental. This is a high-responsibility role for someone who has already built a foundation in operations and wants real ownership and broad exposure to how a fast-growing, high-volume physical product business actually runs day to day.
The role sits within Operations and spans the full breadth of what that means at Zima: supply chain (production, freight and logistics, warehousing and fulfilment, forecasting and planning), as well as quality and regulatory support, customer experience operations, and cross-functional projects with Product, Commercial, and Growth. Core supply chain operations will be a significant focus of the day-to-day work, but the role is not limited to it, you'll get exposure across the operational engine of the business rather than sitting in one lane.
This is not a role limited to executing a narrow, well-defined supply chain function. We're looking for someone who has previously helped build, shape, or support an operations department, not just operated within one. You'll be expected to contribute immediately, solve problems independently, and take ownership early. You'll work closely with senior leadership and gain exposure to how decisions are made across every part of the business. The expectation is not just that you support projects, but that you actively help drive them forward.
This is a fast-paced environment with high standards and high expectations. In return, high performers are given rapid progression, significant ownership, and the opportunity to grow into leadership roles quickly.
If you want responsibility early, genuine breadth across how a business operates, plenty of analytical challenges to dig into, and the opportunity to accelerate your career far faster than in a traditional corporate environment, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain
- Work across the end-to-end supply chain, from production through to final delivery, without owning any one stage outright.
- Work directly with suppliers on production and order coordination, helping ensure orders are placed, tracked, and delivered on time and to spec.
- Oversee freight management rather than managing it directly, making sure processes run efficiently and freight is coordinated in a timely manner in line with stock requirements.
- Track and monitor the performance of key 3PL accounts to keep fulfilment operations running efficiently.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Forecasting, Planning & Inventory
- Support demand forecasting and replenishment planning across products and markets.
- Help maintain healthy inventory levels, balancing availability against working capital and avoiding both stockouts and overstock.
- Contribute to launch and sale-event planning so the chain is ready for demand spikes.
Data & Business Analysis
- Build reporting and track performance against key operational metrics across supply chain and other functions.
- Build models and run scenario analysis to pressure-test plans and support better decisions.
- Turn messy operational data into clear insight that drives action.
ERP Process Improvement & Scaling
- Work within Zima Dental's ERP, ensuring data and records are accurate, well maintained, and run smoothly across the team.
- Go beyond day-to-day upkeep to develop SOPs that improve consistency and execution quality across the platform.
- Use the ERP, alongside reporting tools and AI, to build new reporting capabilities that give the business better visibility over operational performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Quality teams to support business-critical initiatives.
- Coordinate across internal teams and external partners (suppliers, freight forwarders, 3PLs) to keep product moving.
Ownership & Growth
- Take increasing ownership of operational verticals and projects as you develop in the role.
- Operate with a problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Contribute ideas proactively and take initiative rather than waiting for direction.
- Develop a broad understanding of how a high-growth, high-volume physical product business scales operationally, across every function it touches.
What We're Looking For
Education & Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in an operations role.
- Degree in Science, Business, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
- Startup or fast-scaling company experience is a strong plus, given the pace of this role.
- Experience working within an ERP system, ideally having gone beyond basic use to help improve processes, reporting, or data quality within one.
