Senior Business Operations Coordinator
Location: London, United Kingdom
Our client is an innovative and fast-growing global biotech company looking for an experienced Senior Business Operations Coordinator to support its expanding UK organization.
In this highly visible role, you will act as a key operational partner across leadership, medical, market access, and commercial functions. You will ensure smooth business operations, coordinate projects and events, manage vendors and contracts, and help build efficient processes in a dynamic growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate business operations, including vendor management, contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and budget tracking.
- Organize internal meetings, workshops, team events, and strategic initiatives.
- Support national and international congresses, educational events, and stakeholder engagements.
- Manage documentation, approvals, compliance processes, and reporting activities.
- Act as a central liaison between internal teams, external partners, vendors, and healthcare stakeholders.
- Support onboarding activities and contribute to process improvements and organizational effectiveness.

Profile
- 5+ years of experience in business operations, project coordination, event management, executive support, or a similar role within pharma, biotech, healthcare, or life sciences.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience working with contracts, vendors, budgets, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Hands-on, proactive, and highly service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing organization.
- Fluent English.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Nice to Have
- Experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical start-up/scale-up environment.
- Exposure to congress and HCP event management.
- Familiarity with systems such as SAP, Cvent, DocuSign, or similar platforms.
