Role Description
The Senior Operations Engineer / Ops Lead is a full-time remote role responsible for maintaining and improving production infrastructure that supports high-traffic, mission-critical websites. Day-to-day activities include:

The role involves leading operational processes, refining deployment and release workflows, and collaborating with development teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable hosting solutions. The Ops Lead will also handle customer service interactions related to platform stability, document best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of monitoring, automation, and incident response.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to diagnosing complex technical and operational issues.
- Troubleshooting skills to identify root causes, resolve incidents quickly, and prevent recurrence.
- Customer service skills to communicate clearly with clients, manage expectations, and provide professional operational support.
- Hands-on experience with Linux systems administration, including scripting, monitoring, and security hardening.
- Practical experience with Windows server environments, including configuration, maintenance, and integration in mixed stacks.
- Experience with cloud hosting platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or similar) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with web technologies, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and logging/monitoring tools is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work independently in a remote setting, and proven experience in an operations, DevOps, or SRE role are preferred.
