Senior Operations Manager – International Removals – GATWICK
To be successful in this role, you must have substantial experience at a Senior Managerial level, within a multi-site or complex operational environment.
- Do you have experience as a Senior Manager within a people focused operational sector?
- Do you have a clear understanding of diverse workforce?
- Do you have the ability to lead, motivate, encourage, and coach a team of Managers to ensure the company values, and vision, policies and procedures and contractual standards are met at all times?
About the role
You will Lead by example and champion Care & Custody's commitment to Health and Safety, LiveSafe initiative and continuous improvement within International Removals, whilst developing a culture within International Removals where people are respected and valued, treated with dignity, developed, and recognised so that a safe, inclusive and forward-looking environment is created and maintained.

Main duties

- Lead and manage a diverse team of staff to drive innovation, high standards and excellent performance across operational, contractual and financial management.
- You will be empathetic in your approach, providing effective and visible leadership, guidance and support and create a culture where people are respected and valued and fully committed to delivering an excellent service.
- Building a team of staff to develop and provide operational support to a growing and expanding business
- Drive and implement continuous improvement across the business and to share best practice.
- Motivate, encourage and coach the team to ensure company values and vision, policies and procedures and contractual standards are met at all times.
- Contribute to the overall performance and service delivery aspects of International Removals
- Support the operational day to day management of the International Removals team.
- Build effective relationships with the Home Office and relevant stakeholders to ensure best value in relation to the IR operation whilst meeting the needs and welfare of employees and residents.
