Role Purpose
The Senior Operations Manager – Home & EU Operations is responsible for driving commercial growth through student recruitment, strengthening operational collaboration across departments, expanding strategic partnerships, improving operational processes, and supporting the long-term growth of the Home & EU Operations division.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Generate qualified student applications through existing and new recruitment channels.
- Develop sustainable lead generation strategies.
- Expand the regional recruitment network.
- Build relationships with educational consultants and referral partners.
- Explore new student acquisition opportunities.
Operational Collaboration
- Work closely with the Home Operations team.
- Coordinate with Admissions and Compliance teams.
- Maintain timely communication with university partners.
- Support internal planning meetings.
- Assist management in operational decision-making.
Process Improvement
- Identify operational bottlenecks.
- Recommend workflow improvements.
- Improve turnaround times.
- Support the implementation of operational best practices.
Commercial Growth
- Diversify recruitment sources.
- Strengthen relationships with existing referral partners.
- Develop new business opportunities.
Operational Leadership
- Support operational planning.
- Mentor junior recruitment staff where appropriate.
- Improve coordination between departments.
- Assist in resolving complex student cases.
- Promote operational excellence.
Strategic Development
- Recommend new recruitment initiatives.
- Provide market intelligence.
- Support management in future recruitment planning.
- Contribute to long-term business strategies.
Performance Management
- Monitor recruitment KPIs.
- Improve conversion efficiency.
- Reduce processing delays.
- Maintain high compliance standards.
- Ensure service quality throughout the recruitment process.

Qualifications
- Strong operations management and process improvement skills, with experience overseeing multi-step service delivery workflows.
- Demonstrated ability in team leadership, staff mentoring, and performance management within a service-oriented environment.
- Experience in education consulting, student recruitment, or international student services, ideally with UK or EU markets.
- Working knowledge of immigration and visa processes for study abroad destinations such as the UK and Europe.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, partners, and internal teams.
- Advanced organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities to handle high volumes and tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in standard office software and CRM or student management systems; comfort with data tracking and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Education, or a related field; a master’s degree is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a senior or mid-level operations role; experience in a study abroad or consulting context is preferred.
- Commitment to ethical, non-discriminatory practices and a strong focus on client service and continuous improvement.
