Senior Operations Manager – Leading Formula 1 Team

About the Organisation:

This leading Formula 1 team competes at the highest level of global motorsport, delivering world-class experiences for partners and guests across an international race calendar.

As the team continues to invest in its Trackside Guest Experience programme, it is looking to appoint a Senior Operations Manager to lead the operational strategy and delivery of premium hospitality environments across the Formula 1 season.

The Impact You'll Make:

The team is looking for a Senior Operations Manager to lead its Trackside Guest Experience Operations function across a global race calendar.

This is a senior leadership role, combining long-term operational strategy with hands-on event leadership. You'll oversee the planning, logistics and delivery of premium hospitality environments, ensuring every race weekend reflects the highest standards of operational excellence and guest experience.

Working closely with senior stakeholders across commercial, partnerships, finance, the race team and external suppliers, you'll shape how the operation evolves—driving innovation, improving processes and developing the infrastructure, people and partnerships that support one of Formula 1's premium hospitality programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the operational strategy, planning and delivery of Trackside Guest Experience across the Formula 1 calendar.
  • Provide leadership and development for the Trackside Operations team, creating a high-performing and collaborative culture.
  • Oversee international logistics, freight, asset management and operational readiness across multiple race events.
  • Act as the senior operational lead at Formula 1 events, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Manage supplier relationships, procurement activity and operational budgets, driving value and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver innovative hospitality environments and premium partner experiences.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational processes, infrastructure and future event delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
