(Salesforce experience is essential)
We are seeking an experienced, commercially minded Senior Operations Manager to join an ambitious, purpose-led SME organisation at an exciting stage of growth. This is a pivotal role for a confident operator who thrives on bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to a fast-moving SME consultancy, while strengthening systems, standards, and operational infrastructure.
In this role you will lead a small team and work closely with senior leadership and specialist external partners, with a key focus on driving the transformation of Salesforce, improving data quality, reporting, and business insight, and ensuring systems and processes support commercial and strategic priorities. Alongside this, you will provide oversight across IT and digital infrastructure, AI and automation, people operations, financial governance, quality, compliance, facilities, and operational assurance.
The successful candidate will bring significant experience within a senior operations, business management, practice management, or similar leadership role, ideally gained within an SME consultancy, professional services, or other entrepreneurial and growing organisation. Hands-on Salesforce experience is essential, including reporting, data quality, user adoption, and the ability to lead a structured programme of enhancements and improvements. Our ideal candidate will be an organised, pragmatic, and commercially astute leader, comfortable balancing hands-on delivery with wider operational leadership, managing competing priorities, and developing an accountable, high-performing team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
