Senior Operations Manager

Laine Pub Co – The Generous Host! Welcoming. Unapologetic. Carefree. Creative.

Laine Pubs aren’t just about pouring pints; we’re building experiences and creating environments that defy the ordinary. From spontaneous gigs to impromptu gaming sessions, our people and our pubs are architects of epic moments, big and small.

We exist to ignite the moment! We’re opening the door to the next generation of pub goers by amplifying the ordinary, sparking the extraordinary, and challenging ourselves to live more than we did the day before.

Welcoming the weird, wild & wonderful

Laine is a melting pot of badassery where weird is wonderful and different is divine. We’re Diversity Defenders and will pass on homogeneity – thank you very much! Whoever you are, and however you got here, expect to be welcomed with open arms. We can flex to the needs of every individual.

The Role

As Senior Operations Manager, you will drive sustainability and growth across our pub portfolio by exceeding area profitability targets and fostering strong professional relationships with Management Partners, General Managers, and the Operations team. Collaborating closely with the Operations Director, your leadership will be central to increasing pub turnover, maximizing profit, and providing sound business advice that aligns with our vision, mission, and values. You are responsible for leading and coaching at a senior level, creating developmental opportunities for the team and wider business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
