Senior Operative
Onsite Permanent Roles – Warehouse Supervisor/Process Specialist

About the Role
Support the department manager in achieving divisional KPIs and objectives. As a highly skilled Process Specialist, ensure the delivery of production-based and value-added activities while enforcing process improvements and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Production-Based Activities (12+ months’ proven competency)
- Receiving and putting away products into locators
- Picking, packing and shipping customer orders
- Processing company returns (customer-owned, consignment, technical service, and PIs)
Inventory and Logistics Support
- Creation and maintenance of DEMO Bills of Material
- Emptying locators, cycle counting and lot consolidation
- Processing trade compliance documentation for shipments to/from GB, NI and EU
- Maintaining the company’s Customs Handling of Import and Export Freight (CHIEF) Reports
Compliance, Quality & Training
- Supporting all compliance, inventory and quality-based activities, including Human Tissue products
- Training new starters in role tasks, ensuring safe and procedurally correct execution
- Ensuring detailed understanding of processes to identify and implement improvements through formal channels

Process Improvement & Troubleshooting
- Acting as a process specialist to support Lead Coordinators in troubleshooting issues
- Escalating critical discrepancies or operational issues to the department manager when resolution isn’t possible
- Driving continuous improvement to increase efficiencies and reduce costs
Stakeholder Engagement & Culture
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal (local/regional) and external stakeholders
- Promoting a safe working environment and championing quality through 100% accuracy in tasks
- Aligning with company culture to drive engagement
Miscellaneous
- Operating as required to meet operational business demands
Requirements
Education & Certifications
- GCSE or higher qualification (or equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications (Beneficial, Not Mandatory)
- Valid IATA and/or ADR Dangerous Goods qualification
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence
Essential Experience & Knowledge
- 3+ years’ experience in warehousing or similar logistics role
- Working knowledge of warehouse processes and ERP/WMS systems (e.g., Oracle or alternatives)
