About The Role

We are looking for a motivated Senior Operative for our Repair Team in Chippenham.

This dedicated team is responsible for diagnosing faults, repairing and servicing Dyson products from our existing Floorcare, Beauty and Environmental Care (Air purifiers, Heaters and Fans) products.

Working pattern is 07:15 – 17:30, 4 days on, 4 days off, including weekends and Bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support all functions within the Bumpers Farm Site.
  • Diagnose, Repair and service Dyson products returned by UK customers according to the Dyson quality service level.
  • Repair / Rebuild the returned customer machine as per the defined Dyson policy and procedures.
  • Refurbish products to Dyson quality standards.
  • Assist in the loading and offloading of delivery vehicles.
  • Unbox and re-box all Dyson products and parts.
  • Book in and dispatch using SAP, CRM, PCF and courier systems.
  • Ensure cleanliness of all our products and working environment using dust extraction equipment and cleaning materials and products provided.
  • Assist in the disposal of all site waste, ensuring site recycling processes and procedures are followed and onsite equipment is used correctly.
  • Picking, Packing and Dispatching of Dyson products and parts working to achieve set performance targets.
  • Replenish of our parts and products in all our onsite stock locations.
  • Assist in training and upskilling new team members.

About You

  • Have some understanding / ability to work with technical tasks.
  • Happy to be on your feet all day.
  • Able to follow written instructions and diagrams to diagnose faults and carry out repairs.
  • Able to solve problems.
