SENIOR OPERATOR (GR 2), INSPECTION

Terumo BCT Ltd, based in Larne, manufactures a range of sterile fluids for both human and veterinary use. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Operator, Grade 2 to join our team.
Duties
- Ensure all product meets the required quality standards and complies with the appropriate product specification.
- Ensure productivity is maximised in all areas.
- Organise Production staffing so that the Daily output targets are met.
- Monitor and report reject product to Fill Room/Multivac senior operators and also to Production Management.
- Ensure that all batch documentation/log books are correctly completed in a timely fashion, paying particular attention to batch reconciliation.
- Organise the employees under your supervision to ensure that a clean and tidy working area is maintained at all times and that full Area Clear Checks are carried out where necessary.
- Ensure that all activities within the department are carried out in an efficient and effective manner in compliance with the current Good Manufacturing Practice.
- All relevant Standard Operating, Manufacturing and Health and Safety procedures should be followed at all times.
- Ensure that the employees under your supervision arrive at their workstation punctually at the shift commencement and after any breaks.
- Inform the Process Lead and/or Production Manager immediately of any breaches of GMP or deviations from Standard Operating Procedures and Product Specifications.
- Allocate all relevant materials and ensure the appropriate Gin Numbers are recorded on all necessary batch documentation.
- Complete all appropriate stock reconciliation Sheets daily.
- Performing other duties assigned by Production Management.

- Possess good numeracy and literacy skills, i.e. minimum secondary-level education.
- Be able to attend work on a regular basis – i.e. good attendance/timekeeping record.
- Be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Be able to work on own initiative.
- Be able to work shifts/overtime.
A knowledge of the Company’s Inspection area operations and equipment would be advantageous.
