About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and technically accomplished individual to join our growing Vertical Transportation team in London.

We deliver innovative engineering and consultancy services across the planning, design, and operational lifecycle of buildings, helping clients create spaces that are more efficient, sustainable, and intelligent.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist lift and escalator consultancy services across both standalone and multidisciplinary projects.
- Work as a key member of the project team, involved in activities including concept and scheme design, traffic analysis and simulations, preparation of tender documentation, site surveys, and the specification of refurbishment and modernisation works.
Experience Required
- Providing expert consultancy services for lifts, escalators, and moving walkways.
- Undertaking surveys of existing equipment, including condition assessments and lifecycle evaluations.
- Developing vertical transportation strategies for new-build, refurbishment, and modernisation projects.
- Preparing design reports, condition reports, and feasibility studies.
- Producing technical specifications and tender documentation.
- Carrying out lift traffic analysis and preparing associated reports.
- Reviewing contractor submissions and technical proposals.
- Monitoring installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Supporting procurement exercises and tender evaluations.
- Providing independent technical advice to clients and project teams.
- Undertaking site inspections and witnessing demonstration tests.
- Preparing capital lifecycle and asset replacement plans.
- Reviewing compliance with relevant British Standards, European Standards, and UK legislation.

Qualifications
- HNC, HND, degree-level qualification, or equivalent relevant experience (preferred but not essential).
- Membership of a relevant professional institution, or a demonstrable desire to work towards professional accreditation and Chartered status.
Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of vertical transportation systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
