About This Role

We're currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team, you'll help support junior project managers in the team, working alongside Senior Project Managers, you'll report directly to our PMO Director. You'll be responsible for managing the delivery of Oracle Cloud projects, ensuring exceptional client experience and quality delivery standards.

As the ideal candidate, you must have solid experience in Oracle Cloud / Fusion project delivery, with a proven track record of successfully delivering solutions. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for leading in a cross-matrix environment and influencing a wider team of consultants. Experience in pre-sales activities would be an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leading, monitoring and maintaining the progress of project plans to ensure delivery of the key stages and goals within the agreed timeframes, cost, and quality.
  • Proactively managing customer expectations and being able to closely monitor for remaining within the project scope.
  • Managing the agreed scope of the project to ensure that Change Requests are clearly called out, agreed upon, and impacted against timeline.
  • Monitoring tasks and progress of client-specific activities.
  • Controlling and reporting progress to the Leadership Team and escalating any issues, as appropriate, in a timely manner. Initiating action where necessary in order to keep the project on track.
  • Constantly assessing potential risks and issues maintaining risk and issue logs, and contingency plans.
  • Communication to the team of decisions made by the client.
  • Close monitoring and reporting on project budget.
  • Take the lead on communicating and consulting with key stakeholders.
  • Identify inter-dependencies between the various stakeholder groups to ensure all are aligned and risks are identified, mitigated, and communicated.
  • Working with the Team Leads to ensure appropriately skilled resources are delivering the project.
  • Be flexible to travel to client sites as required.
  • Assisting the Business Development Director in pre-sales opportunities as and when required.

About You

This is a rare opportunity to manage cloud/fusion projects across a broad range of our clients whilst developing your career across a number of industries including financial services and local government.

You will be responsible for successfully managing the delivery of Namos’ Oracle Cloud projects with our diverse delivery teams. Across multiple industry segments, you will be working with our clients to confirm scope and goals, objectives and business justification and secure resources (people and budget).

Skills and Requirements

  • Operational knowledge of implementing Oracle Cloud projects end to end
  • Experience in delivery and implementation working for a fast-paced consultancy/systems integrator
  • Overall strong Project Management capabilities and proven experience in delivering Oracle Applications projects using Oracle AIM and OUM methods
  • Knowledge of PRINCE 2 or other formal delivery methodologies and experience in Project Management best practice
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Excellent organisation, documentation, and communication skills
  • Excellent client-facing skills and ability to liaise with clients at all levels
