Here when it matters

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need. There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone.

This Senior Organisational Change Business Partner will join our dedicated people leadership team for a fixed term of 18 months and play a key role in delivering expert support across complex change programmes, operating in a fast-paced environment where accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement are essential.

About the role:

  • Partner with senior leaders to map out the "to-be" operating models. Track line management spans of control, redundancy pools, and critical role preservation for the remaining workforce.
  • Develop localised, step-by-step transition roadmaps for change. Collaborate with operations and other support teams to ensure a smooth process.
  • Build resilience in line managers. Equip them with the tools, scripts, and emotional capability to deliver tough messages and keep teams motivated.
  • Work closely with People Business Partnering team and Legal to manage consultations, trade unions, or employee representative groups. Ensure all consultations and selection matrices are fair, consistent, and legally compliant.
  • Work closely with Communications team to ensure transparent, timely communication plans. Own the messaging around why the change is happening and when.
  • Where appropriate, design redeployment paths to keep high-potential talent within the organisation.
  • Monitor workforce morale, absenteeism, and productivity. Proactively flag high-risk areas to senior leadership and create intervention strategies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
