Role Overview

The OT Infrastructure Engineer will support and maintain critical Operational Technology infrastructure across a secure and highly regulated environment. The role will focus on day-to-day operational support, infrastructure maintenance, patching, monitoring and incident resolution across Windows-based server platforms, Nutanix infrastructure and associated OT systems.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior engineers, security teams and operational stakeholders to ensure infrastructure availability, resilience and compliance across the OT estate.


What will you be doing?

  • Support and administer Windows Server infrastructure within OT environments.
  • Maintain and operate Nutanix virtualisation platforms.
  • Administer Active Directory, DNS and Group Policy services.
  • Support SCCM/MECM administration within an on-premises environment.
  • Perform server patching, updates and vulnerability remediation activities.
  • Monitor infrastructure health, capacity and performance.
  • Support backup, recovery and disaster recovery activities.
  • Investigate and resolve infrastructure incidents and service requests.
  • Support operational change implementation and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures and asset records.
  • Assist with compliance and audit activities within regulated environments.
  • Work collaboratively with OT security and operational technology teams.
  • Participate in on-call support and out-of-hours maintenance activities where required.

Who are we looking for?

  • Strong experience supporting Windows Server environments
  • Good understanding of Active Directory, DNS and Group Policy
  • Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments
  • Hands-on experience with Nutanix infrastructure administration
  • SCCM/MECM administration experience in an on-premises environment
  • Experience supporting physical and virtual server infrastructure
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with patch management and infrastructure lifecycle activities
  • Understanding of backup and recovery processes
  • Experience working within operationally critical or regulated environments
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
