Senior Paid Media Executive
We are looking for a Senior Paid Media Executive who understands that performance isn't just about putting budget behind content. It's about understanding the audience, the proposition, the creative and the customer journey, and making all of those things work together.
As Senior Paid Media Executive, you'll help plan, build, manage and optimise paid campaigns across key digital platforms.
You'll work closely with the strategy, creative, social, design and web teams, making sure paid media is part of the thinking from the start rather than something added once the creative is finished.
You'll have responsibility for the day-to-day performance of campaigns, but you'll also be expected to ask the bigger questions:
- Who are we trying to reach?
- What are we asking them to do?
- Why should they care?
- Is the creative saying the right thing?
- And is the media helping it reach the right people?
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both the detail of campaign management and the bigger picture behind it.
Responsibilities
Campaign Management
- Support the planning, setup, launch and ongoing management of paid media campaigns.
- Build and manage campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok and other relevant channels.
- Manage campaign budgets, pacing and performance against agreed objectives.
- Monitor campaigns regularly and identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Manage audiences, targeting, placements, bids and budgets.
- Ensure campaigns are correctly structured, tracked and implemented.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Performance & Optimisation
- Analyse campaign performance and identify what is working, what isn't and why.
- Make informed optimisation decisions based on performance data.
- Test audiences, creative, messaging, formats and landing pages.
- Track key metrics including reach, engagement, traffic, leads, conversions, CPA, ROAS and other relevant KPIs.
- Turn performance data into clear recommendations rather than simply reporting numbers.
- Help develop a culture of continuous testing and learning across campaigns.
Strategy & Planning
- Contribute to paid media strategies and channel plans.
- Understand the role paid media plays within the wider marketing and communications strategy.
- Research audiences, competitors, markets and channel opportunities.
- Help translate strategic objectives into practical paid media activity.
- Work with the wider team to ensure media, creative and customer journeys are aligned.
Creative Collaboration
This is particularly important at this agency. You'll work alongside strategists, designers, filmmakers, social team and web team, helping to ensure paid media is considered as part of the creative process rather than after it.
You'll be expected to:
- Understand what makes creative work for different audiences and platforms.
- Feed performance insights back into the creative process.
- Help identify opportunities for new creative tests.
- Brief creative teams with useful audience and performance insight.
- Challenge creative when the data suggests something isn't working.
- Understand that a great campaign needs both a strong idea and the right distribution.

Reporting & Insight
- You'll help produce clear, useful campaign reporting for both internal teams and clients.
- That means going beyond "This campaign generated 2,400 clicks," and getting closer to "This audience and message generated the strongest response, here's why we think that happened, and here's what we should test next."
- You'll be comfortable explaining performance to people who aren't paid media specialists and turning data into a clear story.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with some hands-on paid media experience who wants to develop their career in a genuinely integrated creative environment.
Required Skills
You'll ideally have:
- Experience working with paid social and/or paid search campaigns.
- A good understanding of platforms such as Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.
- An understanding of campaign objectives, audiences, targeting and optimisation.
- Confidence working with performance data and analytics.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- An understanding of how creative affects paid performance.
- The ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- Good communication skills and the confidence to contribute ideas.
- A willingness to learn and develop across different channels.
Formal platform certifications are useful, but curiosity, commercial awareness and the ability to think critically matter more to us than a collection of certificates.
