Senior Paid Media Campaign Manager (Freelance)

London | 3 days on-site | £50–60k pro rata | 5-month FTC | Potential to extend | September start

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Paid Media Campaign Manager to take day-to-day ownership of a major international campaign supporting a high-profile global conference.

The campaign will run across 50+ international markets, combining always-on activity with major campaign moments, registration activity and live event communications. This is not simply a media planning and buying role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for taking the wider strategy and turning it into practical, launch-ready campaigns - coordinating creative, content, web, analytics and technical teams, managing timelines and budgets, identifying risks and keeping multiple workstreams moving.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You’ll need to be someone who can confidently operate independently: knowing when to make a decision, when to ask the right question and when something needs escalating.

The role will involve:

  • Day-to-day ownership of paid media planning, activation, optimisation and reporting across 50+ markets
  • Hands-on campaign management across Meta and LinkedIn, with activity across YouTube, Google Ads and X
  • Managing always-on activity alongside campaign bursts, registrations and key event moments
  • Budget and pacing management across multiple markets and campaign phases
  • Working closely with Creative, Content, Web, Analytics and Account teams
  • Briefing internal teams and ensuring campaigns have everything required to launch
  • Monitoring performance and turning data into clear, practical recommendations
  • Maintaining visibility across deadlines, risks, approvals and outstanding actions
  • Bringing structure, momentum and clarity to a complex, fast-moving international campaign

The ideal person will have 5–6+ years of hands-on Paid Media experience, strong Meta and LinkedIn expertise, experience managing always-on activity across multiple international markets and the confidence to take ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do.

Experience across awareness, engagement, event or registration campaigns would be particularly relevant.

This is a role for someone who enjoys being close to the detail, but can also see the bigger picture and confidently coordinate the people around them to get things delivered.
