Are you an experienced paid media marketer who values an inclusive and collaborative working environment? If so, then this might be a role for you! We’re working with an established digital agency as they look to hire a Senior Paid Media Specialist.

The Role

This is a genuinely hands-on position, combining campaign strategy and execution across a varied portfolio of eCommerce and lead-generation clients. You’ll manage campaigns with budgets ranging up to six figures a month, so you’ll need to be comfortable adapting your approach to different levels of investment, commercial objectives, and account complexity.

Google Ads will sit at the heart of the role. You’ll take ownership of campaign planning, builds, optimisation, and testing across Search and Performance Max, using data to improve return, reduce acquisition costs, and identify opportunities for growth. You’ll also work across paid-social platforms including Meta and LinkedIn. While experience across both search and social would be ideal, the business is open to someone whose strongest expertise sits within Google Ads and who is keen to develop further across paid social.

You’ll work closely with the agency’s Account Managers, who lead the overall client relationships, while acting as the paid-media specialist during client calls. You’ll present results, explain performance clearly, recommend next steps, and help clients understand how their campaigns support their wider commercial and marketing objectives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

There is also the potential for this person to mentor, develop, or lead members of the PPC team. The exact scope will depend on the experience and strengths of the individual appointed, so the business is open to both an established people manager and a highly credible senior specialist ready to take their first step into leadership.

The agency has ambitious plans to grow its paid-media offering, so this is an opportunity to influence how the channel develops. You’ll be encouraged to bring ideas, challenge existing approaches, experiment with new tools, and help the wider team continually improve its work.

  • Several years’ hands-on paid-media experience, ideally within an agency environment.
  • Strong Google Ads knowledge, including campaign structure, keyword research, bidding strategies, budget management, and optimisation.

  • Experience managing multiple client accounts, objectives, and budgets.
  • Confidence contributing to client meetings as the technical paid-media specialist.
  • Experience with campaign reporting, A/B testing, and ongoing performance optimisation.
  • Google Analytics knowledge would be beneficial.
  • Performance Max experience would be advantageous.
  • An interest in AI and how it can be used to improve the quality and efficiency of paid-media work.
  • A collaborative, low-ego approach and a willingness to share your knowledge with others.
  • Agency experience is preferred, although strong in-house candidates will also be considered.
